Owner Andrew Ferrie has followed an international path in his working life with the latest stop being at the West Coast Business Park.

“After receiving an honours degree in Graphic Design in New Zealand, a move to London saw me working with companies such as British Airways, Times London and TNT magazine,” he said.

“I moved to Australia where I worked with a local business before going full time with Gruff Design in 2016.”

He said a team of four worked across all areas of the business, which offered a range of services that allowed his clients access to all the collateral they needed to build their brand, including:

• Marketing strategies
• Social media management
• Printing collateral.

“I enjoy building brands and enabling my clients to create their own strong businesses.

He said Gruff Design and Marketing specialised in creating marketing strategies and brands that clients could feel confident in.

“We work within our clients’ capabilities financially and timewise – so they can be proud to build their business.

“We make sure we understand the voice they are aiming to create and what they are aiming to achieve, before even designing the logo.”

Mr Ferrie has lived and worked in Torquay for 12 years.

“I love the events in town. Nightjar festival is a favourite. I enjoy the people and the more relaxed lifestyle on offer.”
