A local golfing club has grown its offering to out of town visitors by opening three new rentable townhouses on site.
Set in the heart of the 18-hole Anglesea Golf Course, the spacious townhouses give people the opportunity to enjoy life by the beach and bush.
Designed with open plan living, the rooms are equipped with a fully functional kitchen, three bedrooms which sleep six guests, three full bathrooms, a lounge room, dining area, garage, and buggy storage.
They also include air conditioning, two flat screen smart TVs, as well as front and rear decks, ideal for hosting visitors or relaxing after a day out on course.

Program co-ordinator and former Anglesea Golf Club director Geoff Hose said the townhouses were a great investment for the club.
“The great thing about this, is that we know have an asset, worth about $3 million.
“It’s really aimed at stay and play. It’s for those who want to play on our course and stay.
“The units are available, new and nice.”

Anglesea Golf Club marketing and membership administrator Shannon Simmons said the townhouses are for those looking to get away from busy city life.
“We just wanted to offer something comfortable and convenient for golfers and their families to be able to enjoy the scenic bushland and ocean.
“They [the units] are set on a scenic golf course that has a bistro (for lunch and dinner), driving range and mini golf course.
“They are family friendly as well, and we offer daily kangaroo tours so if the entire family isn’t into golf, there’s something for them to do.
“Not to mention, there’s very close proximity to the Great Ocean Road.”

The accommodation will be managed and overseen by local family-owned business Regional Escapes.
Stays are welcome for a weekend, week or even longer.
“The goal is for it to become a stylish getaway for international and domestic visitors,” Ms Simmons said.
Prices per night vary depending on time of year.
