Golf Links Road to be resurfaced
ONE of Barwon Heads’ major roads is set to undergo resurfacing in the coming days.
Starting Sunday, February 23, more than 300 metres of Golf Links Road between Reid Street and Clifford Parade will be resurfaced.
The works are being funded by the state government as part of their Regional Roads Maintenance Blitz.
Bellarine MP Lisa Neville said a lot of people would benefit from the improvements to Golf Links Road.
“These works will make sure the thousands of drivers who use this road to travel between Ocean Grove, Barwon Heads and Geelong each day can look forward to a more reliable, smoother and safer journey.”
The works will take place between 7.30pm-5am until February 27.
Bridge Road and Golf Links Road will be closed at both ends of the works area during this time.
