A FULLY furnished house worth $1.4 million in Mount Duneed is this year’s Good Friday Appeal home and will be up for auction on April 18.
The seven-star Juno 442-D48, built by Henley Homes, is located on a 512sqm lot in Electric Crescent and was donated by Villawood Properties.
It features four spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, a study on both the ground and first floor, a chef’s kitchen and an alfresco for entertaining.
The no-reserve auction means the home can sell for any price, with 100 per cent of the proceeds going to The Royal Children’s Hospital.
Paul Tzamalis, a two-time Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV) auctioneer of the year, led the Good Friday Appeal to its first-ever million-dollar home sale in 2022, achieving $1,082,000.
The importance of supporting the hospital has taken on extra meaning for Mr Tzamalis as he prepares to become a father for the first time.

“Unless you’ve had to deal with The Royal Children’s, we kind of take it for granted, but it is such an integral part of the fabric of families in Victoria,” he said.
“The safety net it provides makes us one of the luckiest places in the world. Hopefully, you’ll never need to use it.”
REIV chief executive officer Kelly Ryan said she was in awe of the dedication the Henley and Villawood teams put toward fundraising.
“It is inspiring to see everyone unite in support of the incredible work done by the Royal Children’s Hospital.
“I have no doubt that Paul will give his absolute best to achieve the best possible outcome on the day.”
The auction will be outside the property at 19 Electric Crescent, Mount Duneed, with a crowd of 1,000 expected to flock to the family street party, which will feature food stalls and entertainment.
The Good Friday Appeal home has been built in Geelong twice before – in Armstrong Creek in 2017 and Lara in 2023.
