GRAB A TIGER DROP TICKET

THE Torquay Football Club, Cricket Club and Netball Club have teamed up again for the third Torquay Tiger Drop, which will be held on February 22 from 5.30- 11.30pm. The major fundraiser for all three clubs – presidents Steve Young, Jenny Wood and Megan Mifsud are seen here – will help fund new rooms for the netball club and improve the football and cricket club’s facilities. Entry is free to the family fun day, and tickets to the Tiger Drop itself are $100 each. After 1,000 golf balls are dropped from a helicopter, the three closest to the pin in the middle of Spring Creek Reserve will win $15,000, $3,500 and $1,000 respectively.
