Henderson nominates towns for sirens
FOLLOWING a community meeting in Aireys Inlet recently, Corangamite federal member Sarah Henderson said she had nominated Aireys Inlet/Fairhaven, Anglesea and Bellbrae as priority locations for funding under round two of the government’s $160 million Mobile Phone Blackspots Program. “I was delighted to host residents from Aireys Inlet, Fairhaven, Eastern View and Moggs Creek at a community meeting last week,” Ms Henderson said.
“This was an important opportunity to provide feedback and raise issues such as the need for fire sirens, mobile phone blackspots and poor TV reception. I want to thank those who attended and those who provided feedback.”
