Honu Honi secure high commendation at Victorian Tourism Awards
SURF Coast surf camp operators Honu Honi have been recognised for their commitment to connecting people with the region and received statewide honours at the 2024 Victorian Tourism Awards.
The organisation was awarded a high commendation in the Adventure Tourism category, signifying a submission score of above 80 per cent.
The Victorian Tourism Awards annually showcase the state’s leaders in tourism excellence, innovation, professionalism and collaboration.
Winners were announced last Thursday evening at a black-tie gala dinner in Melbourne.
Honu Honi Surf Camp offer immersive sustainable surf programs combining glamping accommodation, surf lessons, yoga classes and plant-based meals.
Owner Becky Goschnick said the organisation was thrilled to be showcasing the Surf Coast while prioritising sustainability and inclusivity.
“We are incredibly proud of this recognition and grateful for the support of our guests, team, and the local community.
“It inspires us to continue delivering memorable surf getaways and contributing to the vibrancy of the Surf Coast.”
Category winners are automatically entered into the 2025 Australian Tourism Awards in March.
