TORQUAY surf and wellness operator Honu Honi Surf Camp has earned statewide honours for a third straight year at the Victorian Tourism Awards.

The local business earned a silver medal in the Adventure Tourism category, celebrating its commitment to exceptional guest experiences, sustainability, inclusiveness, and innovative program design.

Honu Honi Surf Camp offers immersive surf and yoga retreats and progressive surfing lessons along the Great Ocean Road and have a reach of more than 1,000 clients a year.

Owner Becky Goschnick said they were incredibly honoured to be recognised.

“As a small, locally owned business, it means so much to be acknowledged alongside major industry operators.

“Everything we do is about helping people feel confident in the ocean while respecting the environment and local community. To know our efforts are making an impact is incredibly rewarding.”

“It’s fantastic to see regional operators being recognised on a state level,” Ms Goschnick added.

“We’re proud to stand alongside other Great Ocean Road businesses showcasing the strength and uniqueness of tourism in our area.”
