THE Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery (GORCI) will warm hearts next month with the return of its indulgent Hot Chocolate Festival.
Visitors will enjoy 31 unique hot chocolate flavours, with each creation showcasing the chocolaterie’s signature sustainable couverture chocolate, a giant handcrafted marshmallow, artisan ingredients, and interactive elements which take the traditional beverage to new heights.
Standout decadent dunkers include the Teddy Crossiant – a bear shaped crossiant filled with delicious hazelnut spread and gooey honey marshmallow; and the Dubai Sphere – a luxurious milk hot chocolate topped with a shimmering chocolate sphere, filled with a rich Dubai bar centre and crowned with fluffy pistachio marshmallow.
GORCI head chocolatier Allan Grandjean said there would be plenty of special flavours to please everyone’s tastebuds.
“Our annual Hot Chocolate Festival has become a real feature on the calendar for our chocolaterie and we’ve loved coming up with even more over the top creations and experiences this year.
“And with our special DIY Kits you can order online, chocolate lovers everywhere can join in the festival fun. We didn’t want anyone to miss out on our kind of winter indulgence.”
Immersive hot chocolate festival tasting sessions will be available throughout the month, as well as a chocolate bomb lab workshop where visitors of all ages can fill and decorate three chocolate bombs.
There is also the chance to win 31kg of couverture chocolate blocks by voting for your favourite Hot Chocolate Festival flavour.
