House4Health to go under the hammer

THE House4Health charity home will go under the hammer tomorrow (Saturday, September 14) for the benefit of the Barwon Health Foundation.

Free family activities at the house in the Lara Lakes development will run from 9.30am through to 11.30am, with the live auction taking place at 10.30am.

Family favourites The Mik Maks are scheduled to perform from 10am.

The community are encouraged to bring along the whole family for the Mik Maks performance, free face painting, giveaways, character appearances, plus the live auction and much more.

“We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of all who took part in making this dream a reality, starting with the remarkable Lino and Richard Bisinella from Bisinella Developments who donated the Lara Lakes block of land,” Barwon Health Foundation acting executive director Francis Trainor said.

“We are also grateful for the generous support by the wonderful team at Hamlan Homes who have constructed the stunning property, Bendigo Bank who are longstanding supporters of the Foundation and wider community, Jo Boothroyd and her sales team at Ray White Lara and the many contractors, suppliers, trades and more.”

She said the Barwon Health Foundation existed to improve the health and wellbeing of the Greater Geelong region by investing in Barwon Health’s life-saving and life-changing care.

“This auction is a pinnacle of some amazing generosity.

“This is more than just a house – its hope and support for healthier futures for our community here in Geelong, particularly in the north.”

The Barwon Health Foundation Charity Auction will take place at 465 O’Hallorans Road, Lara Lakes estate, Lara.
