Improve feedback skills at Time2Talk Leadership’s Networking Breakfast
The Time2Talk Leadership Networking Breakfast is coming to Geelong on June 5, helping people improve their feedback fitness as they connect, collaborate and build capacity.
Those in People and Culture, Learning and Development and Human Resource positions can often feel isolated, despite being in “people” roles.
The team at Time2Talk Leadership found the challenges faced within one organisation are often shared across a range of industries.
The breakfast will focus on the importance of feedback, both giving and receiving, soft skills associated with effective communication and the latest research on approaching feedback with authenticity and structure.
This event will allow like-minded people to come together to share their stories and build capability through discussions on current challenges and topics.
Feedback plays an important role in all high-performing teams, the ability to recognise when people are performing well and offering praise builds a positive workplace culture.
When behaviours that could change are identified and improvement feedback is offered, it helps teams continually improve and innovate.
Attendees will be provided with the tools to initiate feedback conversations and understand how to manage any challenges that may arise.
This breakfast provides an opportunity for people and culture, learning and human resources colleagues to network as they explore latest research, share success stories and develop actions to build a better feedback culture.
The breakfast will take place at Novotel Geelong from 8am until 10am. Tickets are $80 per person and limited to 40 people.
