Anglesea action plan briefing on Sunday
THE Anglesea Community Network will again host an information session about the town’s action plan this weekend. The session – one of a series held recently – explores ways the Anglesea community can work together to keep themselves safe
in an emergency event such as a bushfire. Speakers will include Jamie Mackenzie from the Anglesea fire brigade and Steve Cameron from Emergency Management Victoria. The session will be held in the Anglesea fire station’s community room on Sunday January 27 at 10am.

National Cricket Inclusion Championships are on
AUSTRALIA’S best cricketers with a disability are in Geelong this week for the National Cricket Inclusion Championships. More than 200 players from 16 teams will compete in the championships across three divisions – intellectual disability, blind or low vision, and deaf or hard of hearing. Grand finals for the three divisions will be held tomorrow (Friday January 25) at McDonald Reserve in Highton.

College to host Community Wellness Market
Surf Coast Secondary College will host a Community Wellness Market on Saturday, January 26. The event will feature wellness stalls, music, food, a car boot sale and a $1 raffle. BYO bags and coffee cups. Entry by gold coin donation. Surf Coast Secondary College is at 75 White Street, Torquay. The event is also looking for volunteers to help on the day with everything from selling raffle tickets to directing cars. Email Kelly at [email protected].
