Jayco is searching for its first-ever Caravan Correspondent to explore Australia in a luxury RV.

Australians looking to ditch the desk job for a life of adventure could be in luck, with Jayco launching a nationwide search for its first-ever Caravan Correspondent.

The new recruit, which could be an individual, couple or family, will be paid to travel across the country in a luxury Jayco campervan or motorhome for up to 12 months, capturing content and inspiring others to hit the road.

“This is more than a logistics gig. We want to find someone who can help capture content of our beautiful country and inspire Australians to explore their own backyard,” Jayco’s National Head of Sales and Marketing Scott Jones said.

“Whether you’re a first-time caravanner or a seasoned roamer, if you’ve got a passion for storytelling, we want to hear from you.”

The successful applicant will receive a fully equipped RV, salary and travel allowance, plus camera gear, a laptop and phone. Their role is to chase sunsets, create content and make memories in some of Australia’s most iconic and remote destinations.

“This role is about personality and passion, not perfection,” Mr Jones said.

“We’ll teach you everything you need to know about RV life. You bring the energy and we’ll provide the tools to help you tell your story.”

Applications are now open, with hopefuls asked to submit a 60-second video showcasing their creativity and love of travel, along with a few content samples and a short resume.

Jayco, which manufactures its RVs in Victoria, has supported local jobs and Australian road trips for more than 50 years.
