A RE-ELECTED Labor Government will contribute $2 million towards an upgrade at Our Lady Star of Sea School in Ocean Grove.

The $3 million project will include the construction of a multi-purpose centre, including three general learning areas, collaborative area, staff work space, small hall space, storage, and carpark extension.

“Our Lady Star of the Sea is a great and well respected school led by Rhonda Boyd, acting principal Kerryn Sells and council president Michael Sheridan,” Ms Neville said.

“I congratulate the entire school community for the work they have done in planning for this upgrade.

“Families in Ocean Grove deserve a first-class education in first-class facilities and these upgrades will make sure they do.”

The upgrade is part of a new $400 million fund Labor will establish in partnership with the non-government school sector to upgrade and build new non-government schools across Victoria.
