Lifeline Geelong to host comedy gala
LOCALS can laugh for a great cause by supporting Lifeline Geelong’s 2024 Comedy Gala next month.
The September 13 event will be held at the Geelong West Town Hall and will raise vital funds for Lifeline Geelong and its suicide prevention and crisis support services.
The night of laughs and entertainment will be headlined by much-loved comedian Dilruk Jayasinha from Utopia, MasterChef Australia, I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! and Spicks and Specks.
Dilruk will be supported by fellow Locally Grown Funnies (LGF) group comedians Luke Massey, Johnny Katts, Kelsey De Almeida and Sarah Maree Cameron.
Lifeline Geelong corporate and community partnerships manager Michael Parker said he looked forward to a stellar event.
“We are very excited to once again partner with the team from Locally Grown Funnies and are thrilled with the amazing lineup of comedic talent that will be on stage at the Geelong West Town Hall, all in support of Lifeline,” he said.
“It’s not only a chance to enjoy an incredible night of comedy but also to help raise funds for a cause that makes a real difference in the community.”
Dinner and drinks will be catered by Palat.
The Lifeline Comedy Gala will be held at the Geelong West Town Hall, 153 Pakington Street, Geelong West on September 13 from 6pm to 10pm.
