TORQUAY’s NAB branch remains dedicated to the Surf Coast, continuing to open its doors and provide full-service banking to the community.

The modern, refurbished branch offers everything from tellers through to home loan experts and options for individual and business customers.

Branch manager Karen Lynch said they have a range of options available to suit their customers, servicing those from Ocean Grove through to Lorne with both in person and online options.

“A lot of our home lending is done via zoom, that makes it easier and convenient for joint customers, they can be located in two different areas or two different locations and still be included in the appointment.

The team at NAB Torquay have more than 100 years of experience between them.

“The level of business bankers that we have vary from small business to multimillion-dollar entities that we can assist with finance or accounts, it’s not limited to, it’s inclusive of, that gives us a bigger spectrum to be able to help customers.

“We’ve got exclusive top tier level bankers that can help these customers quite fast and they’ve got complex learnings that they can deal with complex people’s lending.”

While people have the option of meeting face to face or online, the bank can also organise for business bankers to head into businesses and meet with them there, with many of them living around the area.

Together the team has around 120 years of experience between them and have a strong focus on personalised service.

The branch offers full-service banking with tellers also available to assist customers.

“We’re very much customer obsessed with no fees on our account, so it’s really putting the customer first, I think that’s our point of difference,” NAB retail customer executive for Greater Geelong and Southwest Chris Till said.

Outside of hours, customers can also access banking services with the branch offering a full suite of digital options for business and personal customers.

While still offering its in person services, the bank is also introducing a range of digital options to make banking as simple as possible for customer.

“While some people don’t like that option, it’s just trying to make people’s lives easy because we’re all time poor, it’s just trying to give them quicker and faster options,” Ms Lynch said.

The team encourage the local community to head into the branch and “NAB it.”
