Local school kids strike for climate action
SCHOOL children from Aireys Inlet and Anglesea rallied on Friday November 30 to demand the government act on climate change.
Skipping their afternoon class and meeting at B100 Wholefoods in Anglesea, the local children joined the Australian Big School Walk Out For Climate Action, which saw many Australian students protesting for environmental policy.
The children sent a strong message about the next generation, demanding the Adani coal mine to be stopped and for Australia to be 100 percent powered by renewable energy by 2030.
