Local team sees Success

The team at OPSM Waurn Ponds received prestigious national recognition from Luxottica, an international leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of eyewear.

OPSM is a global retailer and recognised their best franchisees in Australia and New Zealand at their Franchising Excellence Gala Dinner on Hope Island recently.

OPSM Waurn Ponds was awarded Excellence in Customer Service among Australian and New Zealand practices.

The respected accolade is assessed against business growth, customer service, community involvement and franchise citizenship.

The store’s “Net Promoter Score” (NPS) is 88.

The NPS is a surveyed index ranging from -100 to 100 that gauges customer satisfaction and loyalty to the brand.

Many brands average an NPS score of 50, with higher standards being set by brands such as Apple at 70 and Nordstrom at 75.

“The Waurn Ponds team excelled in their category, showing fantastic innovation in customer service, and creative paths to business growth,” Optical/Retail for Luxottica Australia and New Zealand president Anthea Muir said.

Waurn Ponds franchisee Rowan Prendergast said he couldn’t be prouder of the recognition his team had received.

“My team manager Mel and I focused obsessively on ensuring that our team members are cared for, respected, and acknowledged for their efforts – knowing that they do the same for every one of our valued customers.”
