Lorne to come to life for market
THE Lorne Foreshore will turn into a hub of creativity tomorrow (Saturday, November 2) for the spring edition of the Lorne Market.
The much-loved community event will feature more than 100 stalls of handmade ceramics, candles, jewellery, homewares, gifts cards, leather goods and vintage clothing.
All site and stall fees will support student learning and development at Lorne P-12 College.
Lorne P-12 College principal Carly Stafford said the market would be ideal for those looking for artisan and hand-crafted Christmas gifts.
“From pottery, unique jewellery pieces and carefully curated homewares, to locally harvested berries, there’s truly something for everyone.
“Food lovers will also be spoiled for choice, with take away food vendors serving up an array of global flavours, including Honduran and Indian street food, smokehouse BBQ, churros, fresh juices and smoothies.
“Don’t miss out on this community celebration and a memorable day of shopping, food and fun by the beach.”
The Lorne Market is a Surf Coast Shire Plastic-Wise event, with no single-use plastics allowed. A hydration station will be available for refillable water bottles.
The event will begin at 9am and run until 3pm. For more information, head to lornemarkets.com
