HUNDREDS of people turned out under blue skies for the return of the Warralily Market at the weekend.

Mirambeena Park in Armstrong Creek was transformed into a vibrant hub of local creativity, flavour and community spirit for the much-loved event.

There was sweet treats galore at last weekend’s market.

More than 35 stalls featured on the day from talented local makers, designers and artisans.

Shoppers explored a colourful mix of handmade fashion, jewellery, art, homewares and gourmet treats against the park’s lush greenery and wetlands.

The Lions Club train rides were a popular addition to the event.

Live performances by Dani Segedinski and the Gosha and Kyle Duo kept the crowd entertained throughout the day.

Event organiser Janina Lear from Picadilly Market said it was a perfect day for the community to relax, connect and celebrate in spring style.

“Marketgoers made the most of the sunshine and the beautiful parkland setting,” she said.

“As always, the petting farm and Lions Club train rides were a hit with families, and the live music created a wonderful atmosphere for shopping and enjoying all the delicious food and drink on offer.”

The market fun continues later this month with the Twilight Good and Makers Festival on November 29.
