Marketing technology platform hoping to aid local businesses

November 12, 2020 BY

Co-founder of Brandcrush Matt Hurle is excited by the prospect of teaming up with local businesses.

SURF Coast Holiday Rentals is one of a number of Torquay businesses joining forces with marketing technology platform Brandcrush as local businesses look to bounce back from a difficult year.

In the same way Uber, Airbnb and Airtasker allow individuals to monetize their time and assets, this platform is doing so with businesses, universities and shopping centres, linking them with national brands through paid partnerships.

Yoke Yoga, Workers Hut and Boardriders Barber are also joining the platform, which already has HelloFresh, Marley Spoon and Catch as national partners.

Surf Coast Holiday Rentals general manager David Muir said Brandcrush took the stress out of the process and allowed his business to have some of the biggest brands available to his customers.

“Brandcrush simplifies the entire process and they’ve given us access to huge brands like Red Bull, Thirsty Camel and even Vitasoy, all paying for product placement as guests check-in to accommodation,” he said.

In the past 12 months, Brandcrush has expanded across Australia, the United Kingdom, New Zealand and the United States and is now has a global monthly reach of 30 million.

Brandcrush Director, co-founder and Torquay local Matt Hurle said he was stoked to be able to provide an opportunity like this for businesses in his area.

“We know brands and agencies are constantly looking for authentic ways to engage consumers. This creates a fantastic opportunity for businesses to surprise and delight customers and get paid along the way.

By signing up as an ‘Activation Partner’, businesses can list a range of bookable opportunities, such as gift sampling, pop-up spaces, or even decals and digital screens.

Brandcrush aims to unlock and grow the $100 billion dollar experiential marketing industry and provide brands a pathway to otherwise untapped media.
