Men’s Shed makes its mark with mud sink
The Torquay Community Men’s Shed has crafted another solution for young children in Torquay, this time building a mud sink for the classes at the Kurrambee Myaring Community Centre. Staff member Tania Harrington (centre left) found a sink by the side of the road and asked the Men’s Shed if they could turn it into a piece of play equipment for the kinder. After about 50 hours of work, the job was done, and Men’s Shed members Brian Burch and John Williams (centre right) delivered the finished product on Tuesday to the delight of the children, who quickly gave it the messy seal of approval.
