Players tee off for Mercedes Trophy

MERCEDES-Benz Geelong held their annual Mercedes Trophy Golf Day at Barwon Heads Golf Club on February 21.

In windy conditions, 65 players competed for a chance to attend the Mercedes Trophy Australian Final at Sanctuary Cove in June.

A novelty charity hole gave participants an opportunity to support a worthy cause, with $2,000 raised for Challenge to support children suffering from cancer.

Frank Webb was the A Grade winner and Russell Sievers was the B Grade winner. Both will now play at the final with a chance to represent Australia at the world final in Germany.
