Modom takes three for the beach
MODOM Surf is pleased to announce it has partnered with Take 3 for its mid October release of the Take 3 Traction Collection.
Take 3 is an Australian-based charity primarily focusing on ridding the ocean from plastic and encouraging everyone to pick up three pieces of rubbish every time they leave the beach.
Modom Surf founder Jack Perry said it was something that everyone at Modom was passionate about.
“We have always been really mindful with how we have designed and produced our packaging too.
“Eliminating plastics from our packaging and donating to Take 3 was a no brainer. The more we can do to raise awareness of the amount of plastic pollution ending up in the ocean, the better.”
Take 3 founder Tim Silverwood said plastic pollution was devastating for our oceans, killing wildlife and “threatening the life blood of our planet”.
“It’s increasingly evident that reducing the problem will require efforts from a broad range of stakeholders.
“Take 3 is committed to reducing plastic pollution through education and participation, and is stoked to have the support of Modom Surf.
“It’s great to see Modom Surf products in plastic free packaging and to have them as supporters of Take 3.”
Modom Surf will donate $3 to the Take 3 organisation from every Take 3 Traction Pad sold.
