New COVID test sites in Geelong

Barwon Health has set up pop-up COVID-19 testing sites have been set up at Corio and Waurn Ponds, in response to new local exposure sites.

Anyone who has COVID-19 symptoms or has visited the exposure sites at the relevant times is asked to get tested and isolate until they receive a negative result.

No appointments are necessary however long queues are already reported.

If you have visited an exposure site or have symptoms, please get tested at:

– Corio, Beckley Park, Broderick Road (ACL drive-through: 10am to 6pm (TODAY Wednesday 25 August), then 8am to 6pm daily.

– Waurn Ponds, Deakin University, Building IA, Peter Thwaites Lecture Theatre, Alfred Deakin Dve (Melbourne Pathology walk-in clinic): 8am to 4pm, 7 days a week.

Barwon Health has urged people be patient during high demand.
