New facilities at Geelong Lutheran College
PREP to Year 12 school Geelong Lutheran College opened a new gymnasium and technology precinct at its Armstrong Creek campus on Friday March 22, giving students an opportunity to explore and develop their educational passions.
Bishop Lester Priebbenow formally opened the college’s latest additions which were made possible with assistance from a federal government grant.
“We are delighted to be able to cater for our students’ needs with the provision of facilities like these,” head of campus Barry Krueger said.
“Along with providing a fabulous indoor sporting facility, the state-of-the-art gymnasium features fold-out seating to accommodate assemblies and events.
“We also have a fully functional performance space.”
The college’s technology precinct extension will play host to food technology, systems technology, IT and textiles/materials technology classes.
Tours of the new facilities are encouraged for families interested in enrolling their children at the college. For enquiries, phone 5264 1038.
