New ferry service from Portarlington launched
PORT Phillip Ferries have just released a new ferry schedule for 2024, and there’s some great news for Bellarine residents.
There’s a new service every Tuesday morning departing Portarlington at 11am that arrives at Docklands just after 12 noon.
For the residents of the Bellarine Peninsula, the ferry service has long been a reliable means of transportation, seamlessly connecting them to Docklands.
However, the recent announcement adds a new layer of convenience by providing a later departure option every Tuesday.
Departing at the leisurely hour of 11am, this new service ensures that residents can savour a more relaxed start to their day while still reaching Docklands just after midday.
The advantages are manifold. For those who appreciate a bit of extra sleep or prefer an unhurried morning routine once a week, the 11am Tuesday service becomes a valuable option.
It not only facilitates a more relaxed start to the day but also offers a unique opportunity to head to the city later in the morning for a lunch catch up or some retail therapy in the CBD.
