New round of TCE grants opens
TORQUAY Community Enterprise (TCE) is inviting all community groups within the 3228 postcode to apply for its coming round of grants.
Funded by Bendigo Bank and managed by a local board of directors, TCE supports various local initiatives and programs.
Grants are available for projects that benefit educational, youth, senior, and all-ability programs, as well as sports, recreation, health, arts and crafts, and environmental conservation.
Grants of up to $2000 are available for small projects and applicants are encouraged to seek guidance on eligibility through TCE’s website.
Each year TCE looks to benefit a cross-section of community groups.
Recent grant recipients including the Torquay Tornadoes, who received new goalkeeper hockey gear; All Aboard Disability, which acquired a new PA system; and the Torquay Outrigger Canoe Club, which received funding for a new trolley for their boats.
People can also support TCE at no extra cost by banking with Bendigo Bank and asking staff to link their account to TCE. This helps channel your banking profits back into the local community.
Applications open on Tuesday, October 1 and will be accepted throughout the month.
