PATAGONIA Torquay will host a special screening of a new surf film sure to capture the imaginations of all ocean lovers and travellers alike.

Tread Softly — a film by Patagonia surf ambassador Tully White and Java Made — will premiere in store this evening (Friday, September 12).

The night of film, surf storytelling and community connection will take viewers into the world of a small fishing village in West Java, home to some of the world’s best longboarders.

Tread Softly will follow White and Made’s adventures through the village, where they share great encounters with local people and local waves.

Following the film, White will discuss all things filming, surfing and travelling with Patagonia global sports activist Belinda Baggs.

The free community event will also feature a screening of No More Straight Lines — a short film featuring surfer Pacha Light, refreshments and a raffle in support of Surfers For Climate.
