On April 18 the Newcomb Power Football Netball Club hosted Minister for Sport John Eren and member for Geelong Christine Couzens for a special announcement; as part of the state governments Sporting Club Grants Program they join 25 other local clubs for a share of $38,483 to go towards new uniforms, equipment, training programs for coaches, officials and volunteers and improving operations and administration.
