One Agency calendar winners revealed
The talented photographers who’ve won a coveted place in the One Agency Surf Coast 2022 calendar have been announced.
Judged by world-renowned surf photographer Ed Sloane, the 13 winning scenic shots of Torquay, Jan Juc and Bells Beach were captured by nine photographers.
Taking out cover photo honours in what is the third annual calendar photo competition was Torquay photographer Romy Becker-Roache for her spectacular surf scene at Point Danger.
The 13 winning photos were announced at a function held at Bomboras Torquay.
One Agency Surf Coast director Shaun O’Callaghan said the team was once again blown away by the response to the competition.
“Despite people not being able to get out and about as much this year, we received more than 150 entries – and the quality was phenomenal,” he said.
“Reviewing them all made us feel really lucky to live in this part of the world.”
Mr O’Callaghan said the idea for the calendar came from looking at the stunning scenic photos we all see on Instagram which are taken by local amateur and professional photographers.
“These days, so few of us print out our photos, so we wanted to create a calendar of these incredible shots that people can have up in their home or business year-round,” he said.
Anyone can pick up a free copy of the calendar from One Agency Surf Coast at 1a Fischer Street, Torquay.
