Pets enjoy fun in the sun
THIS year’s annual Pet’s Day Out returned with a “bang” on the weekend as hundreds of dog lovers turned out to celebrate their favourite four legged friends at Mirambeena Park in Warralily.
The much-loved event returned for the first time since 2019, and attendees were thrilled to get involved with a range of dog themed activities, market stalls and the popular PETstock Pet Parade.
Community development manager at Warralily, Nina Bendon said it was fantastic to have the event back on the agenda and cited that the weather on Sunday made it even better than they could have imagined.
“The Pet’s Day Out was back with a bang this year at Warralily,” Bendon said.
“Above all, seeing the community connecting again through our outdoor event and enjoying the sunshine and everything local businesses and services had to offer, was the most enjoyable part of the day.
“Stand out performances included Georgia (Rogers), who had everyone up bopping around the park and the Flipping Disc Dogs with their gorgeous K9’s jumping, flipping and squeezing through the tiniest of hoops.
“The PETstock Pet Parade was a crowd pleaser with families and proud pet owners getting involved and showing off their colourful made-up animals and clever tricks.
