LOCAL premier hair and beauty wholesaler Professional Hair Care Hair & Beauty has partnered with The Gordon TAFE in Geelong to foster the next generation of star talent in the field.
PHC Geelong has provided more than 80 new beauty and hairdressing kits to students at the education institution to help them get their dreams off the ground.
The apprentice kits include custom bags, mannequin heads, brushes, combs, scissors, razors and all the necessities one would need to thrive.

PHC Geelong has been operating out of Gordon Avenue in Geelong for the last three years and is quickly developing a reputation for its amazing customer service and top products.
Led by industry veteran Chris Ward, the local company is on a mission to make it easier than ever to get top treatment close to home.
Mr Ward said he was thrilled The Gordon had opted to support a local business trying to make a difference in their own backyard.
“Ultimately, we try and have a point of difference with what we do. We are the only locally owned beauty wholesaler left in Geelong, and we are proud of that.
“We got tracked down through Instagram, and they just loved what we did for the community and offered us the opportunity to do the kits.
“We are supporting close to 100 kits which was a big ask, but we are so thrilled to have done it.
“Our team has had great support from the wider Geelong region, and we are getting a lot of love because there are not many people out there doing what we are doing.”
The Gordon program lead for retail – hair beauty and floristry, Jacinta Ramsay, said this partnership would have a really positive impact on their hairdressing students.
“Partnering with a local company such as PHC is incredibly rewarding. It strengthens the connection between training and industry, ensures our programs remain relevant, and reinforces a shared commitment to supporting the local community and workforce.
“Seeing students learn with industry professionals tools and equipment and take pride in their learning is one of the most rewarding outcomes of collaborations like this.”
PHC Geelong is located at 3/2A Gordon Avenue, Geelong.
