Planning for new water ride at Adventure Park underway

October 3, 2018 BY

Adventure Park in Wallington will reopen on October 27, with locals eager to ride the popular Tornado waterslide.

FOLLOWING on from the successful launch of the Tornado waterslide in 2017-18, anticipation is building for the second stage of Adventure Park’s future planned water park expansion.

Development and planning is underway for what will be the construction of a new family thrill waterslide; an original waterslide design different to the Tornado but equally exhilarating.

For now details of the new ride’s design, size and style are being kept under wraps, with an opening date not yet confirmed.

“We are excited to be in a position to be able to develop the park to continue to offer our guests such world-class latest-technology water rides,” Adventure Park’s general manager Paul McConachy said.

This season Adventure Park will be adding 21 new private cabanas around the park, and many more free sun lounges and shade areas.

The Grand Carousel has also had a major facelift and has been relocated to the Kids Town precinct offering families and parents a one-stop entertainment area for little kids to play.

Season Passes for unlimited access to Victoria’s biggest water theme park from October to April 2019 are now on sale.

Adventure Park will open on October 27. For more information, visit adventurepark.com.au.
