Police launch blitz on wanted persons

VICTORIA Police have begun a blitz on wanted persons believed to be in or around the Geelong area.

The 10 wanted persons are suspected of a range of offences, and all have at least six outstanding warrants for their arrest.

They are:

  • Mark Sparks, who is known to frequent the Norlane and Geelong East areas, is wanted for failing to answer bail and theft. Seven warrants have been issued for his arrest
  • Angel Bardsley, who is known to frequent the Norlane area, is wanted for failing to answer bail, recklessly causing injury, and theft. Six warrants have been issued for her arrest.
  • Shannon Luhr, who is known to frequent the Geelong area, is wanted for obtaining property by deception, failing to stop a vehicle on police request, and driving whilst disqualified. Seven warrants have been issued for her arrest
  • Jacob McClusky, who is is known to frequent the Norlane area, is wanted for failing to answer bail, theft, and possessing cannabis. Nine warrants have been issued for his arrest
  • Brenton O’Neill, who is known to frequent the Norlane area, is wanted for contravening a community corrections order, intentionally causing injury, and driving whilst authorisation suspended. Six warrants have been issued for his arrest
  • Dylan Spurling, who is known to frequent the Breakwater area, is wanted for failing to answer bail, burglary, and possessing methylamphetamine. Ten warrants have been issued for his arrest
  • Jason Fensling, who is known to frequent the Norlane area, is wanted for failing to answer bail, failing to stop a vehicle on police request, and possessing methylamphetamine. Six warrants have been issued for his arrest
  • Jake Mawson, who is known to frequent the Norlane area, is wanted for failing to answer bail, theft, and possessing methylamphetamine. Eight warrants have been issued for his arrest
  • Nathan Naser, who is known to frequent the Geelong area, is wanted for failing to answer bail, obtaining property by deception, and theft. Seven warrants have been issued for his arrest, and
  • Slavko Stocki, who known to frequent the Geelong West area, is wanted by police for failing to answer bail and theft. Seven warrants have been issued for his arrest.

Crime Stoppers Victoria is supporting the blitz.

“We are asking people in and around the Geelong area, do you know any of these wanted persons? Share what you know with Crime Stoppers,” Crime Stoppers Victoria chief executive officer Stella Smith said,

“If you have any information about any of these wanted persons, even the smallest piece of information can help lead to a conviction.”

“Everyone has a part to play in keeping their community safe and this is a way that the people living in the Geelong area can help.”

She said any information, even if people were not 100 per cent sure, could be the missing piece of the puzzle that helps investigators solve a crime.

“We understand that people may feel anxious when coming forward with information.
