Popular fair to return to the Surf Coast

THE Airys Inlet Fair has announced the annual event will return on November 1, with visitors expected to flock to the Surf Coast for the occasion.

Held on the first weekend of November, the event raises vital funds for the school and brings the community together for a celebration of town spirit and partnerships.

“As the school’s biggest annual fundraiser, it helps provide resources, programs, and opportunities that benefit every student, while also boosting local tourism and creating a vibrant, family-friendly day for all,” the Aireys Inlet Fair committee said.

While the school is made up of just over 70 students, the draws a large crowd, often attracting around 1000 people each year, the fair also helps boost local tourism and create a vibrant, family-friendly day for all.

 

“Its homegrown charm, our gorgeous school’s lighthouse backdrop, delicious food, live entertainment, and the fact that it coincides with the Aireys Inlet Market make it truly special,” the fair committee said.

Each year the fair involves months of planning, co-=ordination and hands-on effort from dedicated parents and volunteers, with the whole community pitching in on the day to make it a success.

“The joy and fun of the day make it all worth it, it’s an event we cherish every year and feel so proud of.”
