Popular local choir will launch Christmas CD
LOCAL community choir Coryule Chorus will release its second CD at a seniors’ event concert in Drysdale next week.
This CD features some well-known Christmas songs, and also includes some new cheerful Australian carols written by William James.
The CD was recorded at the beautiful auditorium at Christian College, Drysdale earlier in the year by sound engineer Adam Casey, son of one of the choristers.
The Bellarine night sky is reflected in the artwork done for the CD by local artist and choir member Annette Playsted.
The CD features Elaine Holman on keyboard, with Bernice Norman on flute.
Musical Director Joy Porter is excited to bring this CD to the local community.
The launch concert will feature some well-known show tunes as well as a sample of the music on the CD.
The CD will make a wonderful Christmas gift and will be available for purchase at the concert for $15.
Don’t miss the opportunity to hear this popular choir, and be able to take their music home with you for Christmas as well.
Tickets are available by calling Jan Paradise on 0402 321 424, with limited seats available at the door. A gold coin donation is suggested.
