Quiksilver HQ offered for sale

July 18, 2018 BY

Expressions of interest are being sought on the building now occupied by Boardriders Inc in Baines Crescent, Torquay.

QUIKSILVER has taken a major step in moving its headquarters out of Torquay, with offers sought on the property occupied by parent company Boardriders Inc at 27 Baines Crescent.

Expressions of interest in the site of nearly 20,000 square metres through commercial real estate agency Darcy Jarman are now open, but no price is listed.

According to the listing, potential purchasers are invited to “buy today… imagine the future” with a “versatile and adaptable” space with “unique possibilities/options”.

The Industrial 3-zoned site features a two-level commercial building that is 6,529 square metres in size, and “extensive onsite parking” of at least 175 car spaces.

Vacant possession is available from October 2021, and the site has “significant holding income” of $1.639 million (net) per annum.

Boardriders Inc announced earlier this month that it would move its national headquarters to Queensland, but would maintain a presence in Torquay in recognition of the Quiksilver and Billabong brands.
