Rescue operation unfolds at Point Addis
A woman has been rescued after falling from the cliff face at Point Addis on Thursday.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after 5pm, with about 10 vehicles responding as part of a multi-agency effort.
Police – including the air wing – were on scene alongside the CFA, Fire Rescue Victoria, VICSES and Ambulance Victoria crews.
A CFA spokesperson said the woman had been walking along the cliff face when she slipped on loose rocks.
Fire Rescue Victoria crews carried out a high-angle rescue, using specialist equipment to bring the woman back up to safety.
It is not yet known if she suffered any injuries.
Advanced Life Support paramedics were on scene.
