RETREATS Victoria, owned and run by Julie and Jason Batey, is a tourism-based booking service offering guests a variety of self-contained accommodation.

As a brand, Retreats Victoria provides guests a variety of property choices while maintaining the highest standard of accommodation across their properties.

Since purchasing the business in October 2017, the company has grown significantly thanks to the Batey’s passion and experience.

Mr Batey said they are offering more of a ‘onestop shop’ for owners wanting someone to effectively manage their short stay holiday homes.

“We run Retreats Victoria for both parties: we strive to make your short stay rental experience simple and completely transparent – for both the owner and our valued guests,” he said.

Between them they have decades of managerial experience – Julia has spent the past 16 years working as a finance manager and second in charge for a large publishing company.

“I also have extensive experience in HR/office management and own and operate a virtual book keeping company,” she said.

Jason has extensive experience in tourism and hospitality operations and for past decade has been employed as an operations manager for a publishing company.

“I specialised in advertising sales and marketing, and also worked as a general manger for a clothing company. I’ve held various roles involving my passion for photography and now own and operate my own photography business,” he said.
