THIS year, Australia’s largest classic motoring festival is returning home to the Geelong Waterfront bigger and better than ever, running from November 22 to November 24.
See the evolution of motorsport with your own eyes, with classic cars and motorcycles dating back to the brass era, alongside top-notch modern supercars.
Whether attendees are a fan of cars, motorcycles, or just high-speed monsters, the Geelong Revival Motoring Festival will not disappoint.
Fantastic father-son duo Matty and Madzy Mingay will be returning with the Hot Wheels Stunt Team after their successful event debut in 2022. Delivering multiple thrilling stunt shows throughout the weekend, the Hot Wheels team are bringing brand-new tricks and performances to the track.
Be ready to catch your jaw before it hits the floor watching these unbelievable feats of motoring talent.
Of course, it wouldn’t be the Geelong Revival without the historic Quarter Mile Sprints.
The mixture of vintage and modern machines makes for a true spectacle for all motoring lovers, celebrating ingenuity and craftsmanship by pushing each run to its limits and ripping down Ritchie Boulevard.
This year’s Sprint lineup is bound to impress, with returning generational racers and their vehicles celebrating their passion for motorsport.
“We’re excited to see the familiar faces return to the festival this year, along with the many new entrants we’ve seen popping up,” event director Nicholas Heath said.
“I’m glad to see the ever-growing Geelong Revival community is keeping to its name and goal in celebrating this historic motorsport event.”
Stroll through Shannon’s Classic Motorshow to admire hundreds of beautifully restored vehicles. Take a close-up look at these wonderful machines stretched across Geelong’s picturesque waterfront, some of which are rarely seen in public.
For those wanting to bring along their little motor-heads, there’s plenty of family fun like the Hot Wheels truck full of kids activities, as well as carnival rides and games.
Don’t forget the National Vintage Fashion Awards, where contestants will show off their stunning outfits and unique creations as they compete for the title of best-dressed in their category.
Whether you are wandering around the Motorshow or watching the sprints from atop the hill next to Ritchie Boulevard, it’s all about celebrating the decades of engineering and passion behind these fantastic creations.
Pit Passes are available for purchase online or at the gate on the day, starting from $15.
The rest of the event is free for the general public to enjoy.
