VENUES across the Surf Coast will ring in the new year, with several NYE events taking place across the region.

While the fireworks display is returning for the Lorne community, there are still plenty of other options to celebrate on Tuesday, December 31.

The Lorne Hotel will provide the perfect viewing point for the display, with live music from Abe Anderson from 4pm and DJs Steve Toppa and Paddy Slack playing until late.

The family friendly event will include kid’s games and activities, a DJ from 5pm until 9pm, Furphy Bar, food truck and happy hour from 5-9pm.

In Torquay Gypsy Burger will host a NYE Bash kicking off a 2.45pm with a performance from Levi Anderson, followed by Ben Hynes, before MJ Dangerboots takes over the late session.

Archers Torquay (formally Mr Archer Wine Bar) will bring in the New Year with their Party Like It’s 1999 event.

Ticketholders are encouraged to dress to impress in their early 1990s or 2000s outfits for a night of throwbacks with music from Ben Hynes and Tom Pederson.

Melbourne-based DJ Holmes John will be on deck at 4 Pines Torquay for a four-hour ticketed event from 8pm.

In Anglesea, DJ Marni Marni will entertain crowds from 9.30pm at the Klien’s Anglesea Hotel with their New Years Eve Night Party.
