Ripe for the picking: Peachs grand opening goes off

PEACHS Torquay returned last Thursday at 9am with a grand opening event including giveaways, tastings and complimentary Ocean Grind coffee.

The opening weekend saw hundreds of shoppers walk through the balloon-decorated doors, into buckets of fruit, vegetables and flowers, bringing smiles to the entire community.

The Peachs team took to Facebook to share their gratitude for the community during the opening.

“Thank you to everyone who came along and showed us their support. We have a wonderful community. We look forward to seeing more of you today”.

Peachs is open seven days a week from 8am-6pm, located at 132 Surf Coast Highway Shop 2, Torquay.

The grand opening event came after the store had to be rebuilt following a fire caused by a faulty evaporative cooler on January 23 this year.
