Road and safety improvements in Jan Juc

REGIONAL Roads Victoria will be delivering driver and pedestrian safety works in Jan Juc this month.

The works commenced this week and will help upgrade a section along the Great Ocean Road at Strathmore Drive east in Jan Juc.

Crews will widen the road and install a new pedestrian crossing and signage.

During the works, speed limits will be reduced and temporarily lane closures are slated to ensure the safety of all our road users and crews.

Those travelling through the area are advised crews will be working Monday to Friday between 7am and 5pm, and on some Saturdays until 1pm.

Traffic controllers will be on site and a pedestrian detour will be in place.

Plan ahead and allow extra time for your journey.
