Rocky Point celebrates Tigers partnership

BURGERS and fries from Rocky Point fuelled some hungry Torquay Tigers at the weekend as the eatery celebrated its sponsorship of the Torquay Football Netball Club.

Rocky Point’s involvement with the club started this year and has seen the restaurant commit to a long-term sponsorship program with the home of the Tigers.

Restaurant owners Wayne Birch and Steve Dunstan said Rocky Point would focus on assisting and encouraging the junior members of the club across football, netball and cricket.

“Last Thursday we hosted an evening celebration of the Under 17s footballers and Under 15s netballers.

It was attended by about 70 players, officials and family members enjoying Rocky Point burgers in a casual atmosphere,” the business partners said.
