Roos reunite to bask in premiership glory

The ANGLESEA Football Netball Club celebrated its successful 1999 season at its annual premiership reunion and officials’ day.

More than 60 past players and officials came together at Ellimatta Reserve on Saturday afternoon to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the senior and reserve football flags.

Players traded stories over yesteryear over finger food and complimentary drinks.

 

 

 

Guest speakers also took to the stage from the 1999 teams to relive the golden year in the club’s history.

Out on the field, Anglesea was victorious over Newcomb by 69 points in the senior football.

 

 

 

The club’s A Grade netball team kept their season alive with 1-point victory.
