ROTARY SAYS THANKS TO SCOUTS

THE Rotary Club of Torquay has shown its appreciation for the help it receives from the 1st Torquay Scouts, donating a new vacuum cleaner and a $650 cheque to the group. At last week’s Rotary meeting, club member Rhonda Anchen (right) presented Desley McKnight (left) with the Dyson vacuum cleaner in recognition of the Scouts making their hall available at no cost for Rotary’s annual book fair for the past three years.
