Saltair Spa honoured with award

LOCAL business Saltair Spa has been awarded the title of Babor’s Australian Spa Partner of the year.

The award is given to the Babor spa partner who is best across the categories of branding, education, sales growth, marketing and initiatives in all of Australia.

Babor is considered one of the largest and oldest skin care companies in the world.

Saltair spa director Tamara Melis said the award was a complete surprise and she felt incredibly proud her business was recognised with it.

“It’s pretty big; they’re Europe’s number one in skin care. Being so global and recognised here in Australia and travelling to Sydney is just exhilarating, really.”

The Saltair team were presented with the award by Babor’s chief executive Tim Waller at the Sydney Opera House.

Saltair offer a range of services and treatments incorporating the Babor skincare brand.

Ms Melis has been with Saltair for 14 years and said the business is all about inspiring wellness and striving to provide the best exceptional day spa experiences.

“It’s an experience, not just a service,” she said.

“It’s unique and personalised to each individual. You look at the surroundings that we’ve created with all of our locations, we are creating an extraordinary experience by using the best skin care we could possibly find.”

Along with their Torquay and Lorne locations, Saltair Spa can also be found in Port Melbourne, Caroline Springs and Werribee.
