THE Queenscliffe Neighbourhood House will hold its 21st Sand Sculpture Contest in January, and contestants are invited to create sculptures that celebrate the milestone.

The contest will be held on Queenscliff front beach in front of the Neighbourhood House building on Tobin Drive (next to the Pilot’s Jetty) on Thursday January 3 from 4pm to 6pm.

The Neighbourhood House team is inviting people to create sculptures that represent the contest’s 21st birthday milestone.

Team and individual sculptures are welcome, with entry fees of $10 for teams and $5 for individuals. There is no charge for spectators.

Entertainment will be provided by the Neighbourhood House Sea of Ukes band, and the Men’s Shed will be running a barbecue, plus there will be a second-hand book sale on in the Neighbourhood House during the event.
