Scholarship opportunities for deserving FedUni students
SCHOLARSHIPS totalling $7 million are being offered to students enrolling at Federation University Australia this year, with up to 50 types of scholarships across a wide range of study fields available.
Driven by its support-focussed university culture, Federation University Australia will offer scholarships, bursaries and grants to students from all backgrounds.
Vice-Chancellor and President Helen Bartlett said the university is proud of the opportunities it can offer to the next generation of leaders.
“Our support isn’t limited to a chosen few students. Our support extends to the disadvantaged, those in remote locations and Indigenous students,” she said.
“We also provide a High Achievers Scholarship up to $18,000 for VCE students who have performed exceptionally well.
“Our strong industry ties and assistance from government has allowed us to provide this extensive range of scholarships, bursaries and grants.”
Through this year’s program, more than 20 foundation scholarships are available for disadvantaged and deserving applicants.
Funds to cover costs including uniforms, computers, nursing kits and other essential oneoff items will be distributed to eligible students through a series of ‘KickStart’ grants.
“Our new range of scholarships are the most extensive and widespread we have offered,” Jerry van Delft, Director of Student Connect, said.
“All of our campuses have some form of scholarships available.
“We encourage students hoping to pursue tertiary education in 2019 to go to our website and explore the many opportunities available to you.”
